With a vision of creating a community that pursues peace through interfaith understanding and cooperation, Center for Interfaith Cooperation has become a staple in the vibrant landscape of Indianapolis.

Founded in 2011, CIC provides safe environments, resources, and opportunities for service to increase religious literacy, build empathy between faiths, and facilitate interfaith encounters. It is through our robust network of partnerships with Central Indiana faith congregations, colleges & universities, and civic & community organizations that we can bring unique learning and service programs to our community.

Each year, CIC holds it's annual Festival of Faiths, the largest one-day celebration where people of different faiths can come together to learn, interact, and begin developing relationships. It's a memorable way to meet and learn about the Baha'i, Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, Jainism, Judaism, Paganism, Sikhism and many other faiths directly from those who practice and want to learn about your faith, too.

CIC's Interfaith Enrichment Corps (an AmeriCorps program) is where "faith and service meet" as members learn and connect with cultural services, faith communities, an community resources along with a cohort of other service members. They build quality interfaith relationships that explore community solutions in an asset-based approach while also increasing their work-force development skills.

With a 38 member board of directors, CIC's leadership embodies its mission to ensure that different faiths have the opportunity to come together and lead the way in building bridges, debunking stereotypes, and showing us that we are much more similar than we are different.
