Brookside Community Development Corporation

Brookside CDC is a community development corporation committed to creating opportunities for renewal and transformation for people residing in the Brookside neighborhood on the Near Eastside of Indianapolis. 

The Brookside neighborhood is one of the most marginalized neighborhoods in Indianapolis, with high rates of crime, poverty, homelessness, and chronic addiction. Brookside CDC takes a holistic, Gospel-centered approach to meet the needs of neighborhood residents right where they are while building relationships and working together toward renewal. We invest in people over places, and we seek to know one another as a family where life is walked out in relationship, individual needs are met, and authentic community is formed – all in a way that brings dignity, meaning, and a sense of belonging. 

This year, Brookside CDC will provide over 30,000 services to several hundred individuals and families living in our community. We are participating in the 2024 Indianapolis Gives Challenge to reach as many people as possible and raise money for our programs. Join our family!
